雨下得多么大啊！雅尔玛在睡梦中都能听到雨声；

当奥勒-卢科伊打开窗户时，水都涨到窗台了。

外面看起来像一个大湖，一艘漂亮的船就停在房子旁边。

“小雅尔玛，你今晚愿意和我一起航行吗？”
“wiltthousailwithto-night,littlehjalar?”
奥勒-卢科伊说；
saidole-Luk-oie;
“那样我们就能看到外国了，而且你早上就能回到这儿。”

转眼间，雅尔玛就穿着他最好的衣服站在了这艘华丽大船的甲板上；

立刻天气就变好了。

他们在街道间航行，绕过教堂，四周都是辽阔的大海。

他们一直航行到陆地消失不见，然后看到一群鹳，它们已经离开了自己的国家，正在飞往更温暖的地方。

转眼间，他就穿得像所有锡兵中最整洁的那个一样整洁了。
